Carman found a really good deal on Priceline for our hotel. We stayed at Edgewater in downtown Seattle, by the pier. The price Carman got from Priceline originally only got us a room with the city view... but with the hotel right on the water, we decided to pay the $30/night upgrade to an water view room. It was niiiiiiice! The hotel itself felt kinda strange to me at first... It's kinda going for that warm, cozy, lodge feel, but then it also has other contradicting elements like this really nice contemporary bathroom. Weird... but overall, the stay was very comfortable.

The view at night from the balcony was aweome~

We had a lot of good food during our short trip. We found some coupons to the Pike Place Chowder. So we went there instead of our usual chowder place that's actually in the market. We ordered the 4 samplers. They were all soooo good! Unfortunately, the shrimp sandwich was an absolute failure.

Later that day we hit Elliot's for their happy hour oyster bar~ They have this progressive pricing through the 3-hour from 3-6. The oysters starts at $0.50 each! We sat down at 3:15 and right off the bat, we ordered 3 dozens. Whoohoo!!!!

These oysters were so damn fresh! We ordered one more dozen at 3:45 so we totaled to 4 dozens between the 2 of us that day.
We planned to go to the Pink Door for dinner. But we were still filled with oyster when our 8 o'clock reservation came up. So we canceled it and decided to try it out next time. We were really looking forward to eating there. The atmosphere is very unique.

We chilled out at the hotel for a bit, since we walked all over downtown allll day long. Our feet were killing us. Later in the evening, we drove over to West Seattle to Ama Ama. This place is the BEST mussel dish! I've never had mussels this good before! We had this 2 nights in a row. Haha~ Their fried oysters weren't all that spectacular. But their beef fat fries were so addictive!

As you can see, we found a mussel that highly resembled a plump and juicy pussy. Whahahah!
The next morning, we checked out of the hotel. And head over to Lunchbox Laboratory for some famous fatty burger.

Trust me when I say Wendy's so-call Baconator for the meatetarians has nothing on the burgers at the Laboratory! REAL meatetarians eat here. Me and Carman shared a Nutella milkshake and a Truffle Love burger with 1/2 pound of meat. It was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! Sharing is a good idea cause we didn't eat anything for the rest of the day. Haha! But damn... even now I'm craving it... it was so juicy and tasty!
Before we left Seattle, we went to visit the Cougar Mountain Zoo. Carman was so excited cause she LOVES big cats! There were these two HUGE Siberian tigers there. They are only 2 years old, and the keepers there said they still have about 6 months to grow into their full size!

Of course we shopped like never before at the Premium Outlet cause we had $400 spending limit for staying over 48 hours in the States. No need to wear all the layers of clothing at once to avoid taxation. Hahaha. We tried shopping while in Seattle downtown... but couldn't buy anything (except a new jacket for Carman) cause the stuff are so much cheaper at the outlet. Overall, it was a great couple of days relaxing and spending time with my baby~
